Welcome to the Piedmont Peers Alliance (PPA), an organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, peer support, and positive connections for teens. When you join PPA, you become part of a community focused on making a difference and the lives of others. Our meetings will include presentations on active listening, counseling skills, role-playing, and crisis intervention from Ben, interactive activities and discussions, and expert talks from mental health professionals, as well as other information on support, advocacy, and treatment, and opportunities to raise awareness and reduce stigma on campus.
Becoming a member is easy! Just email info@piedmontpeers.org or just show up at lunchtime on Friday, PHS Room 32. Whether you’re interested in mental health, mental health careers, or looking to support friends and classmates.
Help us spread awareness and create a supportive school environment! Volunteer with us, join events, and bring your ideas. PPA has a place for you.
